Is this a fake Uber or Lyft receipt generator?
No. This tool creates authentic receipts for off-platform, informal, or corporate transport services. It is not designed to imitate branded rideshare companies. All fields are editable so you can describe the actual service you paid for.
Can I use it outside the US / UK / South Asia?
Yes. The tool is country-neutral by default. Choose any currency, date format, and distance unit (km or miles). Every field label can be renamed, hidden, or marked required — so it feels native whether you are in Lagos, Berlin, Dhaka, or São Paulo.
Does it support VAT / GST / tax invoices?
Yes. Switch the document type to ‘Invoice’ and tax fields appear automatically. You can rename ‘Tax’ to VAT, GST, IVA, or any regional term, and add provider/client tax IDs.
Can I save my own layout?
Yes. Rename or hide fields once, click ‘Save profile’, and the layout is stored in your browser’s localStorage. You can switch between multiple saved profiles (e.g. ‘My Company’, ‘Freelance’, ‘Fleet’).
Does the receipt work for corporate reimbursement?
Yes. The A4 layout includes receipt number, date, full fare breakdown, signature line, optional stamp/seal box, and an editable declaration — matching the evidence most employers require for reimbursement.
Is my data sent to any server?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Drafts, layouts, and the receipt-number counter are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I still use the original generic receipt layout?
Yes. Use the ‘Generic Items Mode’ toggle at the top of the tool to switch to the classic items-table receipt. Your ride-mode draft is preserved independently.
